A New Beginning
Wisma Atria Looked so different last week!
To launch the highly anticipated Maybebaby.sg web portal, the website took centre stage at the Wisma Atria Atrium on May 2, 2010.
Before you start asking questions, let me start off first by answering the most obvious question….
What is Maybe baby?
As the name implies, Maybe Baby is a web portal that aims to be a 1-stop station which answers all questions about being a Parent! From conception to financial management, this space is for you!
Do we need a Parenting Portal?
Being a Parent can be a really daunting, and no rational human being, can say that he or she is prepared for the task.
I remember the various obstacles and challenges that I had to conquer mentally as I prepared myself to be a father, and as a result, it had me starting a blog to document the events.
With a web portal as an effective tool for potential parents, couples can have all the ParenHOOD information that they need at their fingertips. The rest is just like what an old SDU advertisement would say – The rest is Up to You!
To Commorate the event, we were happy to have the occasion graced by MP for Toa Payoh and Bishan – Mrs Josephine Teo to launch the portal, accompanied by the founder of I love Children, Mrs Joni Ong.
This was one of the happiest moments for Nicole, as she was there to press the Big Yellow Button to officially launch the website. Check out my little girl stretching across to press the button!
Mrs Josephine Teo and other Guest Panelists like Diana Ser were also at the Coffee Shop Talk, to give practical Parenting advice and share their life parenthood experiences at the casual forum.
I also got the meet the rest of the Bloggers involved in Maybe Baby. There were old friends like Daphne from Mothersinc. and new friends like Danni and Yilin (Daphne has 2 kids, while Danni & Yilin are working hard for one).
You can read about our different journeys, as you browse through the blog pages on the Maybebaby.sg website, and I am sure that you can identify with our experiences as well! The website definitely has Nicole’s Endorsement!

For myself, I am headed to the Parenting Seminar at the NTUC Centre this weekend!
