Club Med Bali (Day 1)
This is so exciting! We have landed, and we are now taking our half an hour taxi ride to Club Med Bali.
Situated on the part of the island called Nusa Dua, the Club Med experience provides an extensive list of services and activities in one single package. The best thing about Club Med is that the resort is ALL- INCLUSIVE!
With Buffet Meals all day, sports activities such as Archery, Tennis Golf, Windsurfing and even the circus– this is the place to be…Hey! even the Beer is Free Flow.
Check in time is 2pm and security at the resort is also very tight. This is a key consideration when one takes a vacation overseas. Nusa Dua, has many security guard-posts, and even taxis have to go through security checks when entering the resort premises.
After we entered the resort, we were greeted by the GOs (Gentle Organizer), who welcomed us with a refreshing drink and peppermint towels! Hmm…It felt really good!
The GOs are really friendly and they even bothered to find out the names of the kids, and their ages! I think that was a really human touch, and it showed that they were not just doing their jobs.
Club Med Bali has 400 rooms, and at this time of the year, they are fully packed. so do book early, if you are planning a vacation for the family.
What makes Club Med great for the family, is that their rooms are child friendly.
Check out what I found in the toilet:
The room came equipped with a potty for the kids, a wash basin for my youngest child, and a cot was waiting for us, the moment we entered the room.
Rooms are also adequately sized, and they come with the standard equipment. However, I would have to say that the rooms are a little bit old, as Club Med has been around in Bali for some time. Anyway, the thing about Club Med is that you are not supposed to spend a lot of time in the room…but to go out and soak in the sun and the the activities!
In terms of thoughtfulness, the resort also scores high! Check what I found on my table…a Milk Bottle Warmer!
This shows that they know what it means to have a baby, especially when they want the MILK NOW!
Currently, we are checking out what activities to check out tomorrow, and we are excited as Club Med provides child minding services for the children.
We can’t wait to maximize these child minding facilities, so that Daddy and Mummy can try out the Club Med Activities as well!
Stay Tuned for my next post!
