About Tracy Tan

Sharing a little about myself: I’m 29 years and am an outgoing and carefree person by nature.  I enjoy watching movies, and not just for entertainment’s sake; I enjoy analysing story plots that have a deeper meaning. I believe all directors have a certain message they wish the audience to take away after watching their films.  Some more so than others of course, but in general, I like a show that stimulates my after-thoughts.  I watch movies with my fiance frequently, and we enjoy a little banter over our perceptions of the storylines after each movie.  We don’t always agree – but we have learnt how to agree to disagree.  And we believe that that is what makes a strong relationship; we also adhere to the same principles in other aspects of our lives.  It makes us stronger as a couple, and also more understanding toward each other.  In general, we enjoy spending time just being together.  Where time permits, we also like to play games, and hang out with our friends.

Sharing a Little on how my fiancé proposed to me: My fiance booked a weekend stay at the Fullerton Bay Hotel, to celebrate our relationship’s anniversary.  After checking in, I was pampered with a wonderful spa session, and when we returned to the room, I was further treated to a surprise candelight dinner!  The room was so romantically set-up: rose petals on the bed in the shape of a heart, tall candles that adorned our dinner table, and even a set of bath towels rolled up to form the shape of a pair of lovely swans!  Dinner was specially prepared and served in our room, and topped off with a bottle of bubbly champagne.  As we wrapped up dinner, my fiance directed my attention to the window balcony, where we had the best view of the laser-lights display show projected from the Marina Bay Sands.  Gentle music played as an elaborate set of water works danced in full motion to it, while fire/laser projections topped off the show in a climatic fashion.  At the end of it all, my fiance sat me down by the window bay, and went down on both (yes both..) knees, and said “I want you to be the mother of my children”.  [I half suspect he was a little tipsy having had finished almost the entire bottle of champagne on his own! But that didn't really matter, because of what he had just said..]He then asked me to marry him, and to spend the rest of my life with him.  And with that, I said yes! It was a wonderful moment – heartwarming, tummy-butterflying and everlasting.
